“Show Cause”是悉尼大学要求学术进展不理想的学生提交的一种解释与自救报告，如果不在规定时间内提交，或者内容说服力不足，最严重可能被“exclusion”(退学)。
Show Cause写作结构模板：

简要说明你写这封信是为了继续完成学业
示例：
I am writing this statement in response to the Show Cause notice I received regarding my academic progress. I understand the seriousness of the matter and wish to explain the circumstances affecting my performance, as well as my plans to improve.
可以是健康问题、家庭变故、适应困难、心理问题等
尽量附上证据，如医生证明、心理咨询记录等
示例：
During the semester, I experienced significant mental health challenges, which severely impacted my concentration and study habits. I have since sought professional help and have attached a medical certificate for reference.
包括参加学习小组、学术辅导、时间管理改进等具体措施
展现你有认真对待并决心提升
示例：
To address these issues, I have already begun weekly sessions with the Learning Centre and will continue to meet regularly with an academic advisor. I have also enrolled in workshops on time management and academic writing.

示例：
I am committed to improving my academic performance and completing my degree at the University of Sydney. I respectfully ask for the opportunity to continue my studies.
